 CCTV over CAT5
Can I install a CCTV system using plenum CAT5 or higher and what adapters are needed? I'm looking to save money, am I going cown the right road?

Dear Mike,

What you are describing is know as a "CATV Balun". One sample of this product can be found is the Black Box catalog at this link

You should be aware that there may be additional distance and frequency issues. Also the cost of these units may make it more economically feasible to run coax instead of utilizing Category 5e or better cable.
