 RG6 Connector Color Codes
I am studying for the SBCA Level 3 test and I need to know the color codes for RG6 Connectors, ie: ground blocks, barrel connectors, etc. I can't find it anywhere, not even in the NEC docs.

Dear Roger,

You won't find color codes in NEC because it deals with safety issues and color code is more like a convenience feature.
That said, I am not aware of a color code that is a standard (even de-facto) in CATV. You could adapt the telecom de-facto standard once promoted by AT&T by coloring horizontal subsystem components in blue, riser backbone - white, campus backbone - brown and network interface - green but that is completely arbitrary and, again, only a convenience feature for easier maintenance. Never followed, I should add, in the CATV world although that should not prevent you from being the first to use it consistently!

Sincerely,
Dmitri Abaimov, RCDD
