 110 Block
What is the wiring schematic for wiring a 110 block with Cat5e cable. I have 24 Cat5e cables coming from each apartment down to the D-Mark that needs to be wired to a 110 block for telephone service.

Dear James,

We have this 4-pair cables on 110-block wiring schematic publihed that will be relevant to your job at hand. The diagram shows only one row of six cables but it should be easy enough to see that you should repeat the same layout on each of the four rows of contacts that 110 block has.
Be sure to punch down the 110C clips after the cables and pairs are routed as per the diagram. I know it sounds silly but I've seen a lot of installers leave without 110C clips on because they did not think about the fact that electrical contact only happens inside the clip. Can's expect much connectivity from the plastic base of the block...

Sincerely,
Dmitri Abaimov, RCDD
