 DSL cabling
I'm getting slow downloads (90 kbps)with DSL, probably because of inadequate cables. What grade should I use, and what connectors are required for a Westell 6100 modem? Thanks.

Dear Donald ,

DSL was designed to work on old telephone cabling (the stuff in the streest is not even category 3) but inside your home I would definitly use category 5e min. from the modem to the PC and any additional switch distribution.

Have you contacted your DSL provider to complain about the slowness?....maybe they can find you a better pair that will deliver faster results.

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
