 color codes
I was wondering if there are any industry standards as far as cable color? For instance crossover cable is typically-RED. Or 100BT Ether is BLUE.

Dear Michael ,

No, there is no industry standard on the cable's outer jacket color. Some organizations may have developed they own internal standard like blue for data and white for voice, but it's not a standard.

Sincerely,
Dmitri Abaimov, RCDD
