CAT6 compaitibility problem...i Guess??

 CAT6 compaitibility problem...i Guess??
I used CAT6 belden wires to connect my 2 switch netgear gs605, with my broadband, and it connect to my motherboard is intel dg965ryck, when i connect the cat6 it doesnt work, when i connect cat5 cables it works...is it a compaitability issue with by gigabit card or what??

Dear Asif,

No Category 6 cables and connectors are fully back wards compatible to Category 5 & 5e. I suspect that you may have a termination problem either physical or proper pairing of the cables. Recheck and test your cables for proper paired continuity to T568 standards.
