My laptop only has RJ11 connector and i would like to hook it up on the LAN. Is there a way i can itelize the cat5 cables mainly terminated by RJ45 connectors to use this laptop?

Dear PETER,

Your RJ11 connector is more then likely for a modem which only handles analog telephone lines and is not compatabile with LAN signals.

If your laptop has USB ports, you can find a USB-LAN adapter like this one
http://www.netgear.com/products/details/FA120.php

or if you have a PCMICA card slot then something like this:
