 Audio over CAT5
Can you run the audio out of a computer over CAT 5 wiring?

Dear Eric,

I see no reason why not but I would separate the left and right channels to their own twisted pairs to prevent the pick-up of noise, this will keep all signals balanced. If you need to go extended distances and/or you need to add video, there are a number of products out there such as found at this url:
