 Cat 5 and Cat 6
Can I use Cat 6 cables in my current Ethernet ports? One computer is 2 years old and another is a good 5-6.

Dear trais,

Yes you can, category 6 cable is backwards compatible to category 3. The speed you achieve will be dependent on the slowest component within the system.

Sincerely,
