 wire
I live in Tennessee, I need to know what is the height of cable wire supposed to be when hung from pole to pole, or from house to pole?
I really need to know.
Thanks in advance

Dear jean ,

Sorry, I do not have access to local jurisdiction codes but the standards for what you are asking vary depending upon the actual conditions which are too numerous to list here but are listed in the NESC requirementas and are also listed in the BICSI Outside plant manual Chapter 3 on Aerial Pathways.

The height requirement vary depending on the length of the span in addition to what is below it like railways, urban streets, rural roads, alleys, driveways, pedestrians only, etc.

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
