I have a RG-11 backbone cable and want to split it in one location into 20 signals. Can you explain splitters and amplifiers required.

Dear james,

This would require more detailed information then this helpdesk was intended for. Fopr proper engeering of this you would need to know the incoming signal, the length and type of cable for each run and the performance characteristics of the splitters/amplifiers etc. You may want to contact a manufacturer of this equipment like Blonder-Tongue at www.blondertongue.com

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
