 Plenum Cable
I am running cable above a suspended ceiling and inside non load bearing walls. Do I need to use plenum cable?
No cable is run inside any air ducts.
Please advices

Dear chfis,

Plenum rated cable must be used if the space you are running through is an air-plenum, typically found in commercial space as the return path for the air handling. It is not advised to run cable in actual air supply or return ducts. If the office have duct return systems then typically the void above the hung ceiling is not an air plenum, cjeck with the building owner or a mechanical engineer before proceeding.
