	cross crimping
I want to network(peer to peer) two pc's without HUB. 1) I need pin configuration (diagram)for cross crimping. 2)Do we need same operating system on both the systems.? if one has win98se & second Win2k, will it work?

Dear ravi, There is a wiring diagram for this on the website (click above on references\|pinouts). Here is the url for the crossover cable. http://www.cabling-design.com/references/pinouts/10-100base_t_crossover.shtml The fact that there are differnt operating systems should not present a problem for the [peer to peer network.
