WHAT ARE THE STANDARDS FOR 100 MEG ETHERNET AND WHAT IS THE MAXIUM CABLE RUN FOR 100 BASE T?

Dear angela, Maximun cable link distance is 90 meters with a maximun channel of 100 meters for category 5e systems which would include running 100BaseT. I am not aware of any published standards for 100 Meg Ethernet. If you mean 1000BaseT, the distances are the same and will also run on category 5e cabling systems. Sincerely, Joseph Golan, RCDD
