 outside light
putting up a new outside sensor light from old cable consisting of 1 black 1 red and a single copper wire need to know which cable goes to which in new light which has brown blue and yellow cables

Dear Paul,

Sorry, I won't be able to answer this question. You really need to check the manual for the sensor light. I would suggest feeding its model number to Google. See what comes up. Chances are great you'll find a spec sheet in a matter of minutes.

Also, this helpdesk's main theme is low-voltage and telecommunications cabling. I don't think we have enough expertise in-house to be able to correctly and confidently answer high-voltage power-related questions
