 vga and s-video
I want to hook my dvd up to a extra monitor I have. Can I splice the s-video cable into the vga cable. I need the s-video coming out of dvd and the vga into the monitor.
thanks a whole bunch, Deanne

Dear Deanne,

S-Video and VGA are two completely different technologies. You cannot just directly splice the cables to make it work. You would have to use an S-Video-to-VGA adapter - and ective electronic device that converts the signal.

Below I include the link to one of these devices @Tigerdirect.com. Look at the back panel of the device for all the different interface connections.
