 Coxial Connector Termination
Is it best to connect the shield to the F-connector on both ends of a coaxial cable or only one?

Dear Dave,

You absolutely have to do that every time you install coaxial cable. The shield needs to have electrical contact around the core at both sides.

Sincerely,
Dmitri Abaimov, RCDD
