Question by Brian Wink posted 09 Mar 2003
Who is the best manufacturer of cabling tools. I have heard names such as AMP, Ideal, and paladin. Thank You.
Answer by Dmitri Abaimov posted 10 Mar 2003
Dear Brian,

These are all good brands. Add Harris to the list. I myself use Ideal toolkit, and I do like Harris punch-downs. AMP is fine too, but they tend to fit AMP consumables better than the others', so you'll be somewhat limited in what plugs you would need to buy.

Here is a link to some punch down tools and other installation tools available for online ordering

Hope this helps.
