what kind of cable is used for design a video conferencing systems?
What media is used for the backbone of this system?

Dear Thuy,

It's a tough question to answer: the cable type greatly depends on what kind of network connectivity the video conferencing equipment is using. There were times when all video conferencing equipment run on ISDN. I guess, most popular connection nowadays is Internet, meaning that the local connection is most likely Ethernet.

I would suggest that you should be fine with CAT5E cable to the video conferencing unit in majority of cases.
