 Wall Plate Wiring
I need to know exactly how to wire the female plug for a wall plate.

Here's what I am doing. In 1 room I have a cable modem hooked into a hub. I have 2 computers hooked into that hub. I wan't to add a 3 computer but the 3d computer is in an adjasent room. I wan't to take a straight through cable from the hub and plug it into the wall. Than I want to take another one from the other side of the wall and plug it into the 3d computer. I have been searching all over the web trying to find a simple answer to the wiring.

Guess what I need to know is the wiring diagram for both of the female plugs on eight side of the wall.

Can you please help me, i'm lost.

Dear Mark,

It still does sound simple to me. You are just trying to make a straight connection if I understood it correctly. Therefore all you need is to buy a couple of CAT5(E) jacks and use the same color code on both of them. The CAT5(E) cable has eight conductors. Just make sure they sit into the same slots in the jacks, and you're good to go.

Sincerely,
