 Cabling Difference
What is the difference betweeen Cat 5e and Cat 5E. The building contrator has told me that Cat 5E(big E) costs much more than Cat 5e(little e). Thanks!

Hello, John!

I think both refer to the same. According to the TIA/EIA-568B wiring standard, this Category is called 5e (little e).

Of course, there should be no big price difference only because there is a "big E" printed on the cable jacket.

Hope it helps
