running cat5 and coax in same conduit
I need to run ethernet(cat5) through a conduit that currently has a television coax cable running through it. Will this cause interference?

Hi, Rich!

No, there will be no interference because of low emissions level and good EMI immunity of Cat5 cabling.

You should worry only about power wiring and other devices that may cause interference.

For more information, see our document titled 'Guide to Separation of Network Cabling from EMI sources' at http://www.cabling-design.com/resources/documents/
