 | Question by Arman Reyes posted 01 May 2007 | RJ11 to RJ45 | We want to connect DSL internet to our PABX , the signals will travel to RJ11, if we have RJ11 to RJ45 cable connected to my laptop LAN, can i able to access the DSL internet? if possible what is the wire configuration of RJ11 to RJ45? | | Answer by Dmitri Abaimov posted 09 Jun 2007 | Dear Arman,
You will need a DSL modem to connect to the RJ11 cable that your DSL line is connected to. there is not simple straight cable that connects your laptop's LAN card with the DSL line. You can, however, split the DSL line that put a DSL filter on one of the split ends, then plug into your PBX (PABX). This way you will get Internet connection via the DSL modem and simple phone dialtone via the DSL filter to your PBX.
