Dear Donell,

I have a feeling this has to do with power wiring rather than with low voltage wiring that we cover with this Helpdesk. However, the general approach is the same - I would say the job description refers to being able to connect cables to their respective ports on the distribution panel being screw or push-in terminals for the power or IDC (insulation displacement connector) for the low voltage. I would guess this also has to do with ability to read wiring diagrams and being able to test the above connections after the installation. Sorry I can't be more specific as this is an extremely general question.

Sincerely,
Dmitri Abaimov, RCDD
