 anerobic connectors
I am using anerobic connectors for the first time. I am using Unipise St connectors onto 6f MM fiber. My only other experience is fusion and unicam splices. It is taking over 1 hour to do six connectors. Is this an average time?

Dear Chris ,

1 hour per six connectors is not all too bad, especially if you figured all the preparation time into that. Most especially if all your terminations tested out good and you did not waste too many connectors. Anaerobic glue is not very forgiving when you are doing it for the first few times...

Problem with making this amount of termination is that the preparation time is longer than actual termination.

We are usually figuring 10 minutes per termination which includes prep time, termination and testing.

Sincerely,
Dmitri Abaimov, RCDD
