Is there anyway to piggy back off a cat 5 wall jack to another cat 5 wall jack

Dear John,
The piggy-backing or Daisy chaining of outlets from a cabling point of view is seriously frowned upon with todays standards and will not work from a data (LAN/ETHERNET) point of view. If this is for telephone service (POTS) only then you could get away with it. However my recommendation is always to run a new cable.
