	LAN base Selection Information
Dear Sir, Would u pls answer the following Question: Describe some criteria on which you would base LAN selection? I am currently studying Data Communication & i could not find any answer of the above question. Pls help me. Thanks Muhammad Aneel.

Dear Muhammad, I am not sure if I fully understand your question but I am going to guess that it means; How would you choose a LAN protocol (i.e. Ethernet, Token-Rink, etc.)? I found some interesting article by searching for "Token Ring vs Ethernet" on Yahoo and also look at this link for a discussion on the various LAN protocols http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/cisintwk/ito_doc/introlan.htm BTW we have a policy of not doing assignments for students but we will give you some pointers as to where you can find the information such as the above.
