 Telephony certification/schooling
I have a good grasp of structured cabelling, termination, installation, testing, toning, standards, etc of both voice and data.
I would like to know more than the basics, but work full time and college is out of the question. Can't wait four years for a BA, i need info asap. My question is how, where to go for a course, or cetification, i want to know mor on telephone systems and installation, generally PBX structuring, searching the net brings various result courses from $50 - $350, and they do not seem in depth enough, i don't think i can get all i need from a book either. I live in the Tampa Fl area, but online is good too, i searched avayas web site, you can take certification courses on there, but there is no link on where to go for any training, most BPX phone companies have a partner program where you can earn point based on your sales volume, and the point buy you tech support, manuals etc. any help would be great, thanks and sorry to ramble.

Dear wire,

As you have discovered most telephone system courses are expensive and require some "connection" to their sales partners. I am afraid there is no short cut to what you are seeking

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
