 Consolidation Point
Can someone direct me to a standard that allows a consolidation point, in a structured cabling system, without degrading the performance level of the cable being used.

Dear Bruce,
Not sure if you are looking for the standard covering consolidation points or for a manufacturer of one that complies.

The standard is covered in TIA/EIA-568-B.2.

Can you also be clearer by what you are concerned about"degrading the performance". Aproperly installed Consolidation Point should have little or no effect on performance standards.

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
