 power cord
Our supplied mfg power cord for our server is to short. I wish to have a longer cord made. I was informed that since the power cord will be run under the drop floor it has to be 'dp' or plenum rated. I was just wondering if you had any info on this. thank you

Hi, Jeff!

Yes, you are right. All the wiring (electrical + power) in plenum spaces must be plenum rated.

This is the law (according to the National Electrical Code NEC).
