Dear Sid ,

A simple pin conversion is not going to be possible in this case. Parallel port interface has way too many pins for an 8-pin connector, such as RJ45, to handle. I have a feeling that you may need an Ethernet print server which has an RJ45 (8P8C) connector for Ethernet and the parallel port connector for a printer. Just be sure you don't get the Ethernet to USB print server as this type has pretty much taken over the parallel recently. Additionally, if your printer can handle serial interface, you can make it work with a serial-to-RJ45 simple pin conversion. This is going to be a very slow printing though, only suitable for text printouts.

Sincerely,
Dmitri Abaimov, RCDD
