2.5mm to rj-11 adapter

	2.5mm to rj-11 adapter
Do you know of anyone that sells a 2.5mm to RJ-11 adapter? I would like to plug the adapter between my cell phone's 2.5mm ear bud jack and my cordless phone, so that I can use my cordless phone to talk on the phone, using my cell phone minutes.

Dear Abby, Unfortunately, a simple adapter won't work in this case because the phone needs to be powered from the telephone network via the RJ11. The cell phone would not provide any power. Additionally, you would have to create some extra circuitry for adapting the signal levels and impedances of the mic and the ear piece. Sincerely, Dmitri Abaimov, RCDD
