 outdoor cat 5
i need outdoor cat-5 cable and connectors that i can assemble myself. i have noticed that the outdoor cable is quite inflexible and am wondering if there's an easier way to assemble the ends, for example, a special type of connector that's slightly larger inside to accomodate the outdoor type cable; also, if a special crimper would be needed if such connectors are available . . .thanks, mark

Hi, Mark!

There is no need for looking for special connectors and attaching them to the outdoor cable. Just place two patch panels or outlets at both ends and terminate the cable ends as usual using Insulation-Displacement technology.
