 Telephone wiring
I unscrewed my two line phone jack and the green & white wire came loose. I do not know what screw it came from. Can you help?

Dear Ronald,

I would need more information in order to give a definitive answer.

What are the terminals of the jack labeled or the colors of the wires coming from the jack, there are a few different versions for me to guess?

Is this a screw terminal termination or a punch-down?

Where is the white-green (or the white that is twisted with the green-white terminated on?

Most systems only use the first two pairs (white/blue & white/orange) for a two line telephone.

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
