 RJ45 to RJ11 adapter
Does anyone make a RJ45 adapter to a RJ11 adapter? I have a UPS with RJ11 surge protection that I want to protect my PC's data connection through. The adapter needs to be a RJ45 female to an RJ11 male design.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Brandon ,

Even though you have great intentions here there are other things that must be considered.

1. The RJ-11 port most likely is protecting a single pair (Line 1 voice) while your Data connections use at least two pairs.
2. Your PC data connection is at least a category 5e and the hardware in the surge protector is not rated which most likely have a negative effect on your data throughput.

The reason that the RJ-11 is supplied on the surge protection device is for Telephone (which directly connects to the outside world) and is subject to things like lightning hits.

Your PC data connections are not normally subject to this condition.

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
