 Data and voice line
I would like to connect the Ground phone with an RJ 11 to pin into the RJ 45 port of the Pc so i can answer the phone using the pc. Which colors should go where on the RJ pins?

May you give alternatives.

Dear Simeon,
These are two differnt signals and will not work. Most PCs that are used for telephone calls do so via a telephone modem, special software and either a handset/headset or a combination of a microphone and speakers.

Your RJ-45 type port is for data networking, not voice.

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
