What are the standard for installation of catagory 6 network cable maxium length of a solid cable drop. Compare it to catagory 5

Dear Ken,

They are very similar and the same care should be given. The biggest difference is in the termination. Some manufacturers are reinforcing a particular technique to insure that pairs do not cross over each other at the point of termination.
