What is mean by SLC wiring and NAC wiring in Fire alarm system?

Dear Narayanan,

SLC = Signaling Line Circuit and is used to connect typically multiple smoke detectors on a single loop.

NAC = Notification Appliance Circuit which typical controls horns or strobes.
