 BNC Compression Connectors
Are compression type BNC connectors for Series 59 cables comparable or even better than crimp type BNC connectors (2 crimps - Pin and Sleeve)? Assume that cost is not an issue and that these cables will be used for DS3 connections.

Thanks,

Geno

Dear Geno,

I've used compression connector in place of the typical "F" but have not yet experienced the BNC version.
Based upon the F version I was quite impressed with the ease of installation and the improve resistance to pull-out.
I would go with one of the better known brands like T&B.
Like all types of these connectors there are variation based upon numerous differences in the actual cable dimensions and construction, make sure you have the proper connector and tool for your cable.

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
