 Fire protection in plenum space
If you provide fire protection in the plenum space, such as a fire sprinkler system that meets NFPA 13 standards, are you required to have plenum rated materials installed in the plenum space? Also, if conducting a fire and life safety inspection of the plenum space and you see or find non-rated materials in the plenum, are the building owner required to remove such materials to meet the codes?
Thank you for your time.
