Converting Phone line to Cat 5
I have a home that is prewired for ethernet, but all I can see is the phone plug. How do I wire for ethernet so that I can hook up my laptop or use the connection for gaming? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Kevin ,

It sounds like you would need to contact the builder to find out exactly what was done for the "prewired for ethernet". It would be impossible for us to guess from here

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
