 plenum verses pvc patch cords
I have a plenum rated data center raised floor enviroment, when patch cords are pluged from above floor cabinets to under floor data comm. outlets, is the use of pvc patch cords acceeptable?

Dear rick,

In general no it is not allowed but there are exceptions to the code which you may qualify. Only the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) can answer this question for you. Contact a good local consultant or communication engineering firm to help you with your situation.
