 defferent design
Hi,
I would like to know what are the defferences between these two design.
RG11 cables are pull from a Naval CA to each floor to a tapoff in a closet. From this closets, 4 RG11 cable are then run to another tapoff each. This 4 tapoffs are then 'tap' to another 3 tapoffs each + 1 splitter at the end of the last tapoff.
So the question is, what is/are the difference/s of connecting tapoffs first then followed by splitters at the end of the connection. From using splitters first then followed by tapoffs?

Dear salehin,

Splitters are just that, they divide the signal equally to each output. A Tapoff usally can be fitted with attenuators for balancing the signal load
