Connector cat5 in cat3 cable network
My customer work in telephone organization. They would like to use telephone splicing connector category 5 in the telephone cable. The question is that this idea can make any benefit or not compare to use the regular splicing connector . Thanks for your answer in advance

Dear Roy,

I would need some more information on the category 5 splicing connector to give you better information. As per the standards, category 5 (5e, 6 or even 3) should not be spliced, thereofr I am at a loss of what is being proposed here.

Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
