i need to network 3 rooms of pc's to a room 200 meters away. the rooms have 16 computers in each. one room with Imacs the rest with pc just wanting to know what sort of stuff i will need

Dear Keyne, Yes it can be done in an Ethernet environment and for the 200 Meter distance you will need a fiber optics link to connect the two segments of the network.
