 COAX - Digital Cable - Internet - TV's - Modulator
I have had a very hard time cleaning up the signal. Digital Cable downstairs started the problem. I have tried different connectors for A, B and D, still troubled. What is exactly required here? Do I need a dc filter upstairs because of the powered amp? If so, where? Does the cable company need to 'boost' the signal more?

Equp Specs:

Filter= Channel Vision
Low Pass 2-77
Full Block @ 84-125
model: 3102-78
Rejection: 50dB Min

Amp= Channel Vision
CVT-10PIA
45-1000MHz 10dB
Power Injected RF Amp

Connector A= ??????????

Connector B= ??????????

Connector C= Channel Vision
HS-2T
combiner/splitter
2-way 1GHz
cable in - modulator in
1 output

Connector D= ??????????

Dear Dale,

Sorry I am having a hard time trying to understand your wiring diagram due to the limitations of this forum and also what you are trying to do with this setup. It seems that you are attempting via the modulator to introduce your own signal from a camera to a "channel" but I might be off base here. If you can send me a better diagram via email and a clear description of your problem and goals, I will attempt to help you even though I have limited knowledge of RF engineering.
Sincerely,
Joseph Golan, RCDD
