HI

I want to join two cat5 cable together like a parallel connection. Is this possible. If yes how to do it.

Also is theere any way of accomodation two cat5 cable into single rj45 jack.

Dear Sikander,

If you are doing this to try and get 2 data connenions, like a "Y" cable, on a single cable then the answer is NO.

If you are looking to use a 4 pair cable to end up with 2 100BaseT connections then follow the information on this site above Resourse|References|Pin Layouts then down at the bottom you will see the link to splitting a cable. Please read the warnings on the page.
