 Cat 5 wiring run
What is the longest run of cat 5e cable that you can run for networking?
Answer by Joseph Golan posted 13 Dec 2004
Dear Brian,

The longest run for the "link", which is what you are describing her, is 90 meters or 295'. With the patch and equipment cordage "channel" the maximum is 100 meters or 328'.
